Brother Tommie Lee Hamlett has gone to the Chapter Invisible on October 24. Brother Hamlett pledged Epsilon Tau Chapter at Ferris State (the second line) in Winter Quarter, 1970. His line was “The Sly Seven”, and his line name was “The Thang.”
Brother Hamlett’s line’s lead dog was the late Brother Leroy Nesbit, Jr. (“Big Cat”)and their line had another Flint brother, Keith Hall(“Pimp”). Brother Hamlett attended ET’s 50th Year Anniversary at Ferris State in September, 2019, where approximately 150 brothers participated in their largest Loving Cup Ceremony, ever.
Brother Hamlett, a graduate of Flint Northern High School was the star running back on Ferris’ undefeated 1968 football team, the first in modern times, coached by the late Bob Leach, also from Flint. Bro. Hamlett recently moved back to Flint from out west.
